Researcher Lin Jun from Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Professor Hou Zhiyao from Guangzhou Medical University, and Researcher Li Chunxia from Shandong University reported for the first time a new strategy for enhancing PTT with iron death based on single-atom nanozyme (SAzyme).
Pd SAzyme with atom economy has mimic enzyme activities such as peroxidase (POD) and glutathione oxidase (GSHOx), as well as good light-to-heat conversion performance, which can induce iron death to make lipid peroxide (LPO) ) And reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels are up-regulated. Studies have shown that the accumulation of LPO and ROS can effectively cut off HSP, so the Pd SAzyme can achieve a good anti-tumor effect through mild PTT.
